Before we explore some  further questions about God , belief and religions;  we better note that Scientists have been searching for life in the Universe. Scientists believe that we have Extraterrestrial life on Earth and Humanity is on the verge of discovering alien life. 
The Milky Way may bear 100 million life-giving planets.  There are some 100 million other places in the Milky Way galaxy that could support complex life. “It seems highly unlikely that we are alone,” say the researchers. “We are likely so far away from life at our level of complexity that a meeting with such alien forms might be improbable for the foreseeable future.”

 Many generations of thinkers, both religious and scientific, have been led astray by anthropic assumptions, while others were simply led astray by ignorance. In the absence of dogma and data, history tells us that it's prudent to be guided by the notion that we are not special, which is generally known as the Copernican principle, named for the Polish astronomer Nicholas Copernicus who, in the mid 1500s, put the Sun back in the middle of our solar system where it belongs. The sixteenth century Italian monk Giordano Bruno suggested publicly that an infinite universe was filled with planets that harbor life. For these thoughts he was burned upside down and naked at the stake.

Hunting for evidence of alien life is a much trickier proposition than identifying potentially habitable environments.  For example, the agency's next Mars rover, scheduled to launch in 2020, will search for signs of past life and cache samples for a possible return to Earth for analysis. NASA also aims to land astronauts on Mars in the 2030s — a step Stofan regards as key to the search for Mars life.

Science is more about  the conditions to support life rather than to address the Origin of life questions.  The scientists surveyed more than 1,000 planets on the conditions to harbour complex life  and consider that “It seems highly unlikely that we are alone".
The  Milky Way is so vast that planets with high BCI values are very far apart, according to the scientists.  "We are likely so far away from life at our level of complexity that a meeting with such alien forms might be improbable for the foreseeable future.”

Extraterrestrial life [n 1] is life that does not originate from Earth.  The Scientists consider that 10 billions Milky Way may have lives. 

Discovered using super-powerful magnets to capture minute pieces of debris floating in space, the “bull-shaped” particle is a “complete living entity”.  Professor Milton Wainwright the University of Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology claims it proves life exists outside Earth.

' According to the statistics and the indications we have, a good share of the planets in the habitable zone will be solid planets where there might be liquid water and where life could exist,' said Steffen Kjaer Jacobsen, from the University of Copenhagen.

From the American space agency Nasa's Kepler space telescope, which has confirmed the existence of around 1,000 planets orbiting stars in the Milky Way.  It has also identified an estimated 3,000 other candidate worlds.

Exoplanets around main sequence stars are being discovered in large numbers. 

An increasing number of extrasolar planet discoveries are being made with 2047 planets in 1296 planetary systems known. Rare Earth proponents argue life cannot arise outside Sun-like systems. However, some exobiologists have suggested that stars outside this range may give rise to life under the right circumstances; 
Though planets the size of Earth are difficult to detect and classify, scientists now conclude that rocky planets are common around Sun-like stars.[52] The Earth Similarity Index (ESI) of mass, radius and temperature provides a means of measurement, but falls short of the full Rare Earth criteria.[53][54]

The Milky Way may bear 100 million life-giving planets.  There are some 100 million other places in the Milky Way galaxy that could support complex life, 

The scientists surveyed more than 1,000 planets and study the planet density, temperature, substrate (liquid, solid or gas), chemistry, distance from its central star and age. They developed and computed the Biological Complexity Index (BCI). The BCI calculation revealed that 1 to 2 percent of the planets showed a BCI rating higher than Europa.   With about 10 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy, the BCI yields 100 million plausible planets.
Despite the large number of planets that could harbor complex life, the Milky Way is so vast that planets with high BCI values are very far apart, according to the scientists , the distance from Earth to Gliese 581 is about 20 light years.
“It seems highly unlikely that we are alone,” say the researchers. “We are likely so far away from life at our level of complexity that a meeting with such alien forms might be improbable for the foreseeable future.”
